Amazon construction site shuts down again after eighth noose found

WINDSOR, CT (WLNE) – An Amazon construction site in Connecticut will be shut down until next Monday after an eighth noose was found at the site.

The company says is committed to working with police to hold the perpetrators responsible.

This is the second time the site has shut down due to a noose being found.

Right now police are following all leads.

“So we do have leads that we are following up on,” Chief Donald Melanson of the Windsor Police Dept. said. “We do have investigative leads again. The FBI has been working hand in hand with us all along, along with Connecticut State Police. And again, we have interviews scheduled, moving out and many more to come forward. We do have leads that we are working.”

The developer of the site and Amazon are offering a combined of $100,000 for information in the investigation.
