WOONSOCKET, R.I. (WLNE)- A Woonsocket fire left two adults and three children displaced from their home. American Red Cross is ready to provide assistance.

Red Cross will be providing those displaced with a recovery envelope with information helpful to families recovering from a fire. It includes tips on cleanup, important contacts, dealing with damaged items among other things.

They will also be providing comfort kits which contain toothbrushes, deodorant, shaving supplies and other items needed for those suddenly displaced.

Through donations and volunteer work, Red Cross caseworkers will be able to provide long-term planning for recovery with the families.
