‘And Just Like That’: New Bedford teen starring in popular sequel series
NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WLNE) — The popular show “Sex and the City” lives on with the sequel series “And Just Like That” starring a New Bedford teenager.
At just 15-years-old, Logan Souza is starring on the HBO Max series as the son of character Aidan, who plays Carrie Bradshaw’s love interest.
“I’ve always wanted to be an actor since I was little. Last year, I took the initiative because I always wanted to wait until I was 18 and go to the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. I took initiative and reached out to the New England talent showcase and I signed up for their program,” Souza explained.
“And Just Like That” became Souza’s first show to work on.
Souza added, “I had a few different options from agents, I got a lot of callbacks. Me and my parents sorted through them. We ended up going with the John Shea out of Frontier Booking and after a few roles, he ended up sending me the one for ‘And Just Like That.'”
Souza further encouraged other aspiring actors to get involved.
“Go for it. I was going to wait until I was 18 but if you just take the bull by the horns and the initiative, great things can happen. I never knew I would be in this position a year later,” Souza concluded.
You can watch Logan in the next episode of the “And Just Like That” on Max, streaming Thursday.
