Ann & Hope closing all Curtain and Bath Outlet locations
CUMBERLAND, R.I. (WLNE) – The COVID-19 pandemic and its significant economic impact has caused Ann & Hope to make the difficult decision to permanently close its Curtain and Bath Outlet locations in New England.
The company said in a release today, they will begin closing stores over the next three to four months.
A store closing sale is planned to begin on Thursday, July 9. Discussions are still being held regarding the future of the company’s Ann & Hope Garden Outlet locations.
“This was an exceedingly difficult decision, but after carefully looking at all of our available options, it became apparent that it was inevitable,” said Ron Dore, Corporate Vice President, Ann & Hope.
“We are tremendously proud of everything we have been able to accomplish in Rhode Island and across southern New England since our founding in 1953,” Dore continued. “We want to express our sincere gratitude to each of our associates, whose day-to-day dedication to making the shopping experience special for our millions of customers over the years has helped build Ann & Hope into the unique company we will always be proud of and always remember.”
The company also announced that they intend to have employees work for as along as business allows, and will make an effort to transfer employees to other areas of the company.
Additional information will be posted on Ann & Hopes website in the coming months.
