The Government is scheduled to make an announcement Tuesday regarding dangerous tires.

Despite a series of recalls, many drivers are seriously injured when their tire just falls apart on the road.

In Florida, two adults and ten teenagers were hospitalized in an accident involving recalled tires.

That accident led to the National Transportation Safety Board’s investigation, which found that the tire recall process in America is highly-flawed.

The investigation says that recalls could have a success rate as low as 20%.

The NTSB also looked at aged tires, but no current law or industry-standard prevents the sales of them.

Despite that, an ABC investigation last year found many flawed tires are for sale, described as perfectly safe.

In Rhode Island, nine-year-old tires were found for sale.
