ABC 6 Chief Meteorologist Fred Campagna projects a 4 to 7 inch snowfall in Providence, higher amounts to the northwest of the city and 2 to 4 inches in Southeastern Massachusetts.

The ABC 6 Stormtracker team says an early morning storm will likely cause another treacherous commute in Providence on Friday.

The storm is expected to start after midnight and end around noon.

In that time, up to eight inches of snow could fall on the Providence area.

ABC 6 Chief Meteorologist Fred Campagna says the height of the storm could happen during the morning commute.

The storm could result in another round of closings and delays.
