Apartment Complex Damaged By Fire In North Kingstown

NORTH KINGSTOWN, R.I (WLNE) – Fire personnel are investigating the cause of a fire that started Friday afternoon at a North Kingstown apartment complex.

According to the North Kingstown Fire Department reports of the fire came in at approximately 3:50 p.m at 105 Saw Mill Drive.

Units responded to heavy fire conditions on the second floor, third floor, and attic, according to the department.

The North Kingstown Fire Department was aided at the scene by West Warwick, Warwick, and South Kingstown departments.

No injuries have been reported at this time, but three families were displaced from their homes and are currently being assisted by the American Red Cross.

Four of the 24 units were damaged in the fire.
