Arrests made in connection to illegal drug sales at Kennedy Plaza, police say
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Providence Police Department said an undercover operation led to multiple arrests in connection to illegal drug sales being made in Kennedy Plaza.
According to police, the investigation was conducted over the past several months.
Over those months, police said numerous people have been arrested and charged with organized possession and distribution of illegal narcotics.
The Providence Police Department and Mayor Brett Smiley will hold a press conference to discuss the arrests and operation on Thursday.
