Arrests Made in Warwick Synagogue Vandalism

The Warwick Police Department has made two arrests in the vandalism of the Temple Am David, 40 Gardiner St. Ryan N. Johnson, 20, of Jefferson St, Warwick, RI and a juvenile were charged with committing the damage. The two are responsible for several other instances of graffiti on buildings in Warwick which were not religious in nature.

While investigators do not believe the crime was motivated by hatred, the Attorney Generals' office is reviewing the case to determine if any additional charges will be forthcoming.
