Uri Rams Ready To Press Play On Atlantic 10 Schedule

University of Rhode Island Press Release

KINGSTON, R.I. – Rhode Island will play seven nationally-televised games as part of its 18-game Atlantic 10 schedule, the conference announced Wednesday afternoon.

The Rams open league play at home against Saint Joseph’s on Jan. 3. The following week, Rhody travels to Davidson (Jan. 9) before returning home to host Massachusetts (Jan. 13).

Next will be back-to-back road games, with URI visiting St. Bonaventure on Jan. 10 before going to Dayton Jan. 20. The latter matchup, which will air on the USA Network, will be the first visit for head coach Archie Miller to the school he brought to four NCAA Championship appearances in six years from 2011-17.

Rhode Island closes out January with home games against Fordham (Jan. 24) and La Salle (Jan. 31) sandwiched around a trip to George Mason (Jan. 27). The team returns to the national stage when it hosts Duquesne Feb. 3, with the USA Network in town to cover the game. That begins a stretch of seven nationally-televised contest in nine games.

After a trip to George Washington (Feb. 6), URI heads to UMass Feb. 11 for a game on USA Network. A week later, the Rams welcome Loyola Chicago to the Ryan Center for its first appearance on CBS Sports Network on Feb. 18. Richmond visits Feb. 21 before URI hits the road for games at La Salle (Feb. 25, USA Network) and VCU (Feb. 28, CBSSN).

The team’s final national appearance is at home against Saint Louis on March 2, with CBSSN providing the coverage. Contests against George Mason (March 6) and at Fordham (March 9) close out the regular season.

All conference games not picked up for national television will be streamed on ESPN+.

Overall, the Atlantic 10’s national television package includes 79 nationally televised and digitally produced games, and every home game will be available to A-10 fans across the league’s three media partners: ESPN, CBS Sports, and NBC Sports, either on television or through streaming platforms.

For the 15th straight year, the Atlantic 10 Men’s Basketball Championship Final will be broadcast on the CBS Television Network as a part of the network’s overall Selection Sunday coverage. The game will also stream live on Paramount+.
