Attleboro Fire Crews Battle Flames, Frozen Fire Hydrant
ABC6 is following breaking news out of Attleboro, where fire crews were forced to overcome a frozen fire hydrant to battle a fire.
The flames broke out shortly before 9:30 p.m. on Hazel St. in Attleboro. The fire chief tells ABC6 News that the flames are believed to have broken out on a porch, then extended to the rest of the house. When crews first arrived on scene, they were unable to get a frozen fire hydrant to work.
Despite the initial problems, Attelboro fire crews were able to knock down the fire quickly. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
