An Attleboro man was arrested after sexually assaulting a mentally disabled woman.

Police in Maine say 58-year-old William Francis Duffy had been chatting with the 31-year-old woman online for three weeks when it was decided he would assist her in escaping from her group home in Carver, Massachusetts.

Duffy drove the victim to his summer camp in Sebago, Maine, where he had sex with her against her will.

The victim managed to dial 911 and hide her phone under a pillow while the act was taking place. The call recorded Duffy threatening the female, saying that he she did not comply he would “tie her up and do it anyway.”

After interviewing both subjects police arrested Duffy on Saturday, charging him with four counts of gross sexual assault and two counts of unlawful sexual contact.

The incident is still under investigation.
