Attleboro Nail Salon Owner Injured in Shooting
An Attleboro nail salon owner was injured after a shot was fired into the front windows of his business.
Witnesses say a man with a gun fired into the front of Top Nails on Pleasant Street in Attleboro around noon Saturday, injuring the owner. It's not clear if the owner, Henry Vo, was hit by the round or cut by flying glass.
Police say Vo and the gunman – described as a Vietnamese man – exchanged words outside, and Vo came back inside and warned the roughly dozen people in the shop to get down just before the attacker fired.
Vo chased after the gunman on foot, leaving a trail of blood on the sidewalk, but didn't catch him. He was taken to RI Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries to his right arm.
A forensics unit from the Massachusetts State Police assisted the Attleboro Police department at the scene.
