Attleboro Officials Look to Ban Sex Offenders from Libraries, Other Areas

Library officials in Attleboro are proposing banning registered sex offenders from setting foot in city libraries – and it's being considered for day-care facilities and public pools as well.

Officials say they're worried by the rape of a young boy in a New Bedford public library by convicted sex offender Corey Saunders, and although no similar incidents have been reported in Attleboro, they think a preemptive ban would be a positive step for safety.
