NORTH KINGSTOWN, R.I. (WLNE) — An attorney representing victims of alleged naked “fat checks” at North Kingstown High School on Thursday reiterated his call to implement a judge’s recommendations previously outlined.

Attorney Tim Conlon said the school is not acting on the judge’s recommendation to provide counseling for the alleged victims.

“I ask that the School Committee reach out to DayOne, and get counselling services in place for students or former students that want it,” said Conlon in a statement. “If the School Committee cannot act on this without doing so, I ask that this be placed on a public agenda to formally act on this at your next meeting.”

Conlon also said the school has not yet published new polices for its athletic department, adding that the school has not responded to a public records request.

Three North Kingstown teachers were placed on “administrative leave” for sexual conduct.

Basketball head coach Aaron Thomas was accused of conducting the fat checks.
