Audubon Society of Rhode Island invites night owls on nighttime nature walks

SMITHFIELD, R.I. (WLNE) — The Audubon Society of Rhode Island is inviting all night owls to join them on nighttime nature walks later this summer.
The society said they will host multiple nighttime walks throughout the summer starting in August.
Officials said the walks allow those interested to listen in on some of Rhode Island’s nocturnal wildlife and see what happens once the sun sets.
August 4 is the first night-walk of the month, the society said hikers will take the leisurely stroll through Powder Mills Ledges Wildlife Refuge in Smithfield.
Tickets for night walks and other events with the Audubon Society of Rhode Island are available here.
