‘Bachelor’ Franchise couple Ashley & Jared open local coffee shop inspired by show

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) – ‘Bachelor’ franchise stars Jared Haibon and Ashley Iaconetti open Audrey’s Coffee House & Lounge at South County Commons in South Kingstown, taking over the former Brewed Awakenings. Jared and Ashley were both ‘Bachelor’ and ‘Bachelorette’ stars but met on the show’s spinoff ‘Bachelor in Paradise’. The couple married in Newport in 2019 and have been living in Rhode Island ever since.

The star says this was a longtime dream of his, opening a business in Rhode Island as he grew up in Warwick and previously worked in the restaurant industry. Before Haibon’s journey to find love on The Bachelor, Haibon worked as a general manager at both Providence Oyster Bar and Federal Hill Taphouse.

“Audrey’s”, named after Ashley’s mother, is filled with Bachelor references including several drinks on the menu. Some of Jared’s favorite? “Take a Moment to Say Your Goodbyes” and “The Rose Ceremony”.

Not only are the drinks and decorations Bachelor-inspired, the coffee served at Audrey’s is from Generous Coffee Co., which was developed by another former ‘Bachelor’ star and a close friend of the couple, Ben Higgins.

ABC6 News Reporter Alexa Serowik will be hosting a pre and post show on January 3rd during the season premier of ‘The Bachelor’ at Audrey’s. Alexa will be getting live updates during the show with Jared and Ashley and a few more of your Bachelor favorites. Stay tuned!
