New Bedford’s old record for yesterday was 58 and Providence 60. Today’s record for New Bedford is 58. They could just tie it or break that one as well.
As a cold front and low pressure approach from the west, we’ll get a steady rain from 9 am to 3pm today. The front moves east and a drying gusty northwesterly wind takes control for the start of the weekend. Plan for a windy Friday evening with falling temperatures through the 40s. It will feel like the teens and 20s!

It’s tougher to get an appreciable snowfall with more daylight from a stronger sun. It’s even tougher to keep it on the ground once March arrives. No snow is in our forecast through next Wednesday. A storm may bring a wintry mix to parts of New England late next week.
