Baldelli-Hunt discharged from hospital after collapsing at event in Woonsocket
WOONSOCKET, R.I. (WLNE) — Woonsocket Mayor Lisa Baldelli-Hunt was discharged from the hospital after she collapsed last week during an event recognizing National Organ Donation Month.
Department of Public Works Director Steven D’Agostino told ABC 6 News Monday that Baldelli-Hunt was released from Landmark Hospital on Friday.
Baldelli-Hunt was encouraging residents Thursday to register as organ donors. She collapsed during a group photo.
It wasn’t immediately known what caused the mayor to pass out.
