Barn collapse in North Attleboro

A local farm that helps kids with autism by providing horse back riding lessons, now needs some help of its own.

The barn at Rainbow’s end Therapeutic farm in North Attleboro collapsed under the weight of the heavy snow. The animals weren’t hurt but the business is now shut down.

The owner’s seven horses and three ponies have been shipped off to other barns across the state to stay while the building is repaired, but they have no idea how long that’s going to take.

The Shaw’s are hoping insurance covers some of the cost of re–building the barn. In the meantime the local animal shelter and pet hospital are accepting donations.
