Barrington High School moves to distance learning
BARRINGTON, R.I. (WLNE)- A letter was sent out to members of the Barrington High School community on Wednesday notifying them that the school would be moving to distance learning.
The change will take place on Thursday and last until at least Tuesday according to the letter.
Superintendent Michael Messore cited the high number of COVID-19 cases within the school as the reason for the move.
The school department will reassess the situation on Monday, and make a decision on whether or not to return to the classroom by 3 p.m.
