Barrington Man Dies in I-95 Motorcycle Crash
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) – State police say a Barrington man has died in a late-night motorcycle accident on Interstate 95 in Providence.
Police say 33-year-old Anthony Larisa was headed north on the highway at about 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday when he lost control near Exit 18, struck a Jersey barrier, and was thrown off his bike. He was pronounced dead at the scene. He was not wearing a helmet.
The accident remains under investigation, but police say excessive speed may have played a factor.
