Barrington modifying Governor McKee’s mask wearing guidance

BARRINGTON, RI (WLNE) – The town of Barrington is one of the first towns to modify the Governor’s guidance on mask wearing.

Despite Gov. Dan McKee’s adoption of the CDC guidelines, Barrington will still require masks at all municipal buildings like Town Hall.

Indoor dining will remain limited to 80% capacity on Friday when the Rhode Island moves to 100% capacity.

The town says violation of the ordinance could result in a fine of up to $500.
