BayCoast bank robbed in Swansea

On Friday, August 1^st, a bank robbery occurred at a BayCoast Bank in Swansea.

The robbery happened around 12:55 PM at the bank’s 544 Wilbur Ave location.

A male dressed in black entered while covering his face and demanded cash. He was holding a black handgun.

The suspect fled as a passenger in a dark SUV, going east on Wilbur Ave. He left with an undetermined amount of cash.

There were no injuries reported.

The Swansea Police Department is investigating.
