A beloved barber is hanging up his scissors after 68 years in the business.

90-year-old Tony Manzi is finally retiring after cutting hair and giving shaves on Haven Avenue in Cranston for almost seven decades.

Manzi says he feels like a celebrity around town, and even kids sometimes stop him in the streets just to say hi.

"I’m going to miss all this excitement, all these customers that I’ve done in 68 years. I handle quite a few customers and they’ve been good to me. I made a good living and I thank them all," said Manzi.

On Tuesday, it was a two hour wait to get a haircut form Tony. His last day is Thursday. Another barber will be taking over his shop.
