Alyssa Azzara joined the ABC 6 team in March of 2023 as a news reporter and weekend anchor. She last worked at KNOE 8 News in Northeast Louisiana as a Multi-Media Journalist and weekend anchor. During her time in Louisiana, she covered an array of topics, including crime, local government, health care issues, and severe weather.
As a Connecticut native and UConn graduate, Alyssa is thrilled to be back living on the East Coast and looks forward to exploring Providence.
Alyssa loves spending time with family, friends, and her adopted cat, Tootsie. In her free time, she enjoys karaoke, skiing, and going to the beach. Most importantly, Alyssa wants everyone to know that she puts her heart and soul into the stories she tells and she looks forward to covering anything and everything that affects Southern New England.
