BLAZE CAUGHT ON CAMERA: 3-alarm fire breaks out early Thursday morning

NORTH SMITHFIELD, R.I (WLNE) – A massive fire broke out early Thursday morning, that required multiple departments to help knockdown.

The fire was reported sometime around 4:00 A.M on Old Pound Hill Road.

North Smithfield fire chief, David Chartier says three people were evacuated from the home, with one being rushed to the hospital in “serious condition”.

The cause of the fire is not known at this time.

The North Smithfield Fire Department required a water supply due to the lack of water in the area.
