Boaters help rescue deer from the water in Cohasset

COHASSET, Mass. (WLNE) — A deer was rescued from the water in Cohasset, Massachusetts, on Wednesday.
Police were called to the Parker Venue Boat Ramp for a report of a deer on a boat.
Two men were out on the water around 1:30 p.m. when they saw the animal struggling near Minot Light.
They went out to help it and were able to get it onto their boat.
Police retrieved the deer and gave it time to rest.
The deer was temporarily monitored and released back to the woods.
