BURRILLVILLE, R.I. (WLNE)- The Rhode Island Department of Health issued a boil water advisory on Wednesday for an apartment complex in Burrillville.

Residents at the 970 Victory Highway Complex in Burrillville are advised to boil their water due to E. coli bacteria being found in the complex’s water system.

The bacteria was first found in samples taken on Friday, and then again in samples from Monday.

The boil water order will remain in effect until there are three straight days where clean water samples have been collected.
