Boston police seek public’s help to ID sexual assault suspect

BOSTON, Mass. (WLNE) – The Boston Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect wanted for sexually assaulting a woman in the Public Garden.

Boston Police say the assault happened Sunday morning around 2 a.m.

Detectives say that the suspect approached the victim near Bromfield Street, where they say he forcefully brought her through the Boston Common and into the Public Garden where he sexually assaulted her.

The Boston Police Sexual Assault Unit is reviewing the facts and circumstances around the incident, and urge anyone with information to call detectives at (617) 343-4400.
