Boy riding bike struck by car in Pawtucket

PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WLNE) — A boy riding his bike in the area of Division and Summit Streets was hit by a car, police say.

According to Pawtucket Police Detective Sgt. LeFort, at around 4:30 p.m. on Friday, a call came in reporting the crash.

First responders said the boy only suffered minor scrapes.

The car involved and its driver remained on the scene and there are no criminal charges relating to the incident at this time.
