Brad Connor sworn in as Warwick’s new Chief of Police

WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) – The City of Warwick welcomed new Chief of Police Brad Connor on Tuesday.

Connor was sworn-in to his new role following the retirement of Chief Rick Rathburn.

Previously serving 22 years with the Warwick Police Department, Connor attained the rank of Deputy Chief before retiring in 2019.

“We look forward to the leadership skills of Brad Connor and I look forward to him overseeing the safety of the city of Warwick, “said Mayor Frank Picozzi.

Twenty-two additional officers were promoted at the ceremony on Tuesday evening.
