NORTH HOLLYWOOD, Calif. (WLNE) – The iconic house of long time television show “The Brady Bunch” has officially been sold to the highest bidder.
Home and Garden Television (HGTV), a network operated by Discovery Inc., will be the new owner of the home, as the television company placed the highest bid on the house.
The release of the new owner has been highly anticipated, given social media buzz related to posts by former NSYNC singer Lance Bass. Last Friday, the singer released on Twitter that his offer on the house was accepted. Two days later, Bass took to Instagram to announced that his offer had been declined in favor of another, higher offer.

When the source of the higher bid was announced, Bass tweeted "I’d be pretty upset if it were anyone else, but how can you be mad at HGTV?? My television is stuck on that channel. Kudos HGTV, I know you will do the right thing with the house."
HGTV??! Aw man. I’d be pretty upset if it were anyone else, but how can you be mad at HGTV?? My television is stuck on that channel. Kudos HGTV, I know you will do the right thing with the house. That was always my biggest worry. I can smile again. ??
