Branch Avenue in Providence closed for flash flooding

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The City of Providence announced on social media that Branch Avenue between Langdon and Douglas Avenues are closed.
The city said the area has experienced flash flooding and commuters are asked to avoid the area.
UPDATE: Branch Avenue between Langdon and Douglas Ave are closed due to flash flooding. Please avoid that area, use caution commuting home and avoid flood-prone streets that have been impacted in previous storms.
