UPDATE: Lockdowns lifted at Connecticut schools, suspicious person questioned and released

UPDATE: Lockdowns in 3 Connecticut districts have been lifted. The suspicious person has been identified, questioned, and released.
RIDGEFIELD, Conn. (AP) _ Ridgefield police say schools in that Connecticut town have been locked down after an unspecified “suspicious incident.''
A police dispatcher said Monday morning that police are looking for a suspect. She said there were no immediate details.
School officials are on heightened alert three days after a gunman fatally shot 20 children and six adults at an elementary school in Newtown, about 18 miles from Ridgefield
The Connecticut Post reports that Ridgefield Superintendent Deborah Low released a statement at 9 a.m. warning of a possibly suspicious person in the Branchville train station area. She says Branchville Elementary school buses have been diverted to another school.
State police spokesman Lt. J. Paul Vance says the suspect may be armed.
