Damp weather to follow a nice day on Tuesday
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE)– It was a bright and sunny but breezy day across the area, with winds that gusted out of the south up to 30 mph and made it feel quite chilly along the coast.
A slow-moving front stalls north of us on Tuesday and light winds will allow us to warm up more. We will have partly cloudy skies and reach a high of 63.
We could see a few showers move in Tuesday night, with another round later Wednesday and into the day on Thursday.
Thursday will see a cold front approach and bring with it some thunderstorms.
Skies clear out for Friday with high pressure building in for Easter Weekend!
TONIGHT: Partly cloudy, low 44.
TOMORROW: Partly sunny. High 65. Showers around after sunset.
WEDNESDAY: Mostly cloudy with showers developing by the afternoon. Onshore flow cools things down. High 46.
THURSDAY: Warming up. Showers and an embedded thunderstorm. High 67.
FRIDAY: Mostly sunny and breezy. High 59.
