Brewster man seriously injured in construction site accident

YARMOUTH, Mass. (WLNE) – A man was transported by med-flight after sustaining serious injuries in a construction accident on Monday.
Yarmouth police arrived on scene just before 11 a.m. for a report of a construction site accident on Cranberry Lane.
A worker on scene told officers that the victim had been pinned by a large piece of concrete.
Police identified the victim as a 39-year-old Brewster man. He was the owner of the company that was performing the work, according to police.
Yarmouth police and fire found the victim on scene, still inside of the foundation with serious injuries to his upper and lower extremities.
Police said the the victim was conscious and speaking to rescuers when they arrived.
Authorities said that due to the severities of his injuries, the victim was taken to Hyannis Airport before being transported by med-flight to a Boston hospital.
