PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) _ An exit on I-95 in the Warwick area is temporarily closing for repairs.

The state Department of Transportation says the off-ramp from I-95 South to Route 37 West, which is Exit 14B, is slated for closure beginning Monday.

The exit is scheduled to be closed from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. each day Monday through Thursday until the repairs are complete.

Riders will have to take a signed detour to Post Road North in Warwick, which is Exit 5B.

Bridge maintenance crews will be installing timber shoring on the bridge that carries Route 37 over the Pawtuxet River.

Built in 1963, the bridge has been deemed structurally deficient. Permanent steel repairs are scheduled to be installed next spring.
