Bristol police ask for help in finding missing man

BRISTOL, R.I. (WLNE) — Bristol police are asking the public’s help in finding a man who they say went last week.
Alan Mello, 76, was reported missing to Bristol police on May 22.
Maj. Brian Burke said he was last in contact with his family on May 13.
Mello was described as being 5 feet, 7 inches tall and weighs about 230 pounds He has blue eyes and gray hair.
Burke said the 76-year-old is known to wear blue jeans and flannel shirts. He drives a 2002 red Toyota Solara convertible with a black top with Massachusetts registration 5213XF.
