Bristol police searching for robbery suspect

BRISTOL, R.I. — Police are searching for a man wanted for a robbery of a midland farms convenience store.

Authorities say the man entered the store around 10 p.m. on December 7th with a metal object and attempted to take money from the clerk as the clerk was counting change.

A struggle then ensued between the two and the suspect escaped on foot.

Officials say the suspect was wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt, light gray sweatpants, black & white sneakers, and a light colored mask.

Police are asking anyone with information about the suspect’s whereabouts to contact Bristol Police Department at 401-253-6900 x 217.
