Brown Bears Fall At Hartford

Hartford holds off Brown 58-46

      HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) – Anthony Minor scored 15 points and had
nine rebounds to lead Hartford to a 58-46 victory over Brown on
Thursday night.
      Morgan Sabia added 11 points and eight rebounds for the Hawks
(2-5), who built a 31-22 halftime lead and held on for the victory
despite shooting 37.9 percent from the field (11 of 29) in the
second half.
      Brown (3-3) cut the lead to 41-38 on Matt Sullivan's jumper with
13:31 left in the game, but Sabia countered with a 3-pointer.
      Minor's layup gave the Hawks a 52-43 advantage with 7:28 to
play.
      He also finished with four blocks, four steals and three
assists.
      Sullivan was 7 for 8 from the field, including 5 of 6 on
3-pointers, to finish with 19 points to lead the Bears, but they
shot 34.8 percent from the field (16 for 46) as a team.
      Peter Sullivan added 11 points for Brown, which had 16
turnovers.
