Brown Football Wraps Up Semester With Annual Spring Game

Providence, R.I. – Brown’s Annual Football Spring Game had some significance on the offensive side of the ball with the quarterbacks Nick Duncan(St. Louis, MO) and Michael McGovern(St. Louis, MO) providing the offensive spark to Brown’s new offense along with some strong running by Evan Jackson(Dallas, TX) and Darius Daies(St. Louis, MO).

Following an interception by Robbie Felton(Ann Arbor, MI), the White team drove down the field 95 yards for a touchdown, capped off by a 27-yard touchdown pass from McGovern to Dan Gemmell (Andover, MA) midway through the second quarter for a 7-0 lead.

The Brown team came storming back and scored on an 80-yard drive with Duncan running into the end zone from seven yards out.  A Duncan to Livingstone Harriott(Central Islip, NY) two-point conversion pass gave the Brown team an 8-7 advantage.

Isayah Powell (Bronx, NY) had an interception for the Bears to set up another score. McGovern threw his second touchdown pass on the day, connecting with Scott Boylan(Bakersfield, CA) on a 28-yard pass play to put the White team up, 14-8, just before the end of the half.

Jackson brought the ball to the one yard line on a 12-yard run late in the third quarter and scored on a one-yard run to put the Brown team back in the lead, 15-14.

Quarterback Andrew Livingston(Rye, NY) completed a 50-yard touchdown pass to Jaelon Blandburg (Orange County, CA) as time expired in the third quarter for a 21-15 White Team lead.

Ryan Kopec’s (Alpharetta, GA) 40-yard field goal gave the White team a 24-15 advantage with nine minutes left in the fourth quarter. Dawson Goepferich (Holt, MO) added another White Team field goal from 33 yards for a 27-15 lead and the final score.
