Brown’s Lilly Jr. & Wojcik Earn All-Ivy League Honors

Brown University Press Release

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Sophomore Kino Lilly Jr. and senior Paxson Wojcik of the Brown men’s basketball team have been named to the All-Ivy League teams, as announced by the league office Tuesday. Lilly has been named First Team All-Ivy, while Wojcik has been named to the Second Team.

Lilly, the 2021-22 Ivy League Rookie of the Year, is the Bears’ first First Team selection since 2017. He led Brown this season with career-best marks in scoring (16.9), made field goals (160), made threes (77), and three-point percentage (39.9). His made threes led the Ivy League, while his points per game and made field goals were each third, and his three-point percentage was seventh.

Lilly’s 77 made threes are tied for the third most in a single season in Brown men’s basketball history. He is the only player in program history to hit at least 73 threes in a single season more than once, after making 73 last year as a freshman. His 150 career made threes are 10th all-time.

Lilly set career-highs this season in both points and made threes against Maine on Nov. 27 with 32 and seven respectively.

Lilly is the only sophomore on either of the top two All-Ivy teams.

Wojcik received postseason Ivy honors for this first time this season after his career year, posting career-highs in points (14.9), made field goals (137), made threes (57), field goal percentage (46.1), three-point percentage (38.0), rebounds (7.2), assists (3.2), and steals (1.3). All of those either led the Bears or were second on the team.

In the Ivy League, Wojcik was fourth in points, third in rebounds, and fifth in assists and made threes.

Wojcik set a new career-high for points in a game six times this year, capping the season off with a career-high 25 points against Yale on Senior Night. He had a career-high six assists four times on the year and grabbed 13 rebounds against Michigan State on Dec. 10, another career-best mark.

Wojcik was also named to the Academic All-Ivy team.
