Bryant’s Kvonn Cramer Hospitalized, Game with Tulane Postponed

Bryant men’s basketball student- athlete Kvonn Cramer is currently in stable condition in intensive care in a Cincinnati hospital.

Cramer’s family arrived early Sunday morning to be with him and he will remain in Cincinnati until medically cleared to return home.

The rest of the men’s basketball team was informed Sunday morning prior to the Cincinnati game. After monitoring the team Sunday morning several student-athletes and staff members were held out or limited in Sunday’s game due to illness as well.

Following the game Sunday, it was determined by head coach Jared Grasso in conjunction with Bryant medical staff, and Tulane coach Ron Hunter that the team would remain in Cincinnati an additional night and fly home the following day.

All of the decision made have taken the health and safety of the student-athletes at the forefront.

Bryant would like to thank the hospital staff for their care of Kvonn. Bryant would also like to thank the University of Cincinnati and their medial staff for providing access to any recourses necessary.
