Burrillville man admits to illegally stockpiling over 200 guns

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — United States Attorney Zachary Cunha announced a Burrillville man admitted to illegally stockpiling guns in his home.
This past February, Ronald Andruchuk was arrested after police responded to his home for shots fired while he was under the influence of illicit drugs.
After searching his home, they found 211 guns, thousands of rounds of of ammunition, and a flame thrower.
Documents obtained by ABC6 also show that Andruchuk was also making ghost guns.
Andruchuk will plead guilty to possession of a firearm by a user of controlled substances and two counts of making false statements during a gun purchase.
In exchange, prosecutors will dismiss two other charges against him and will recommend a lighter sentence.
