Burrillville Police search for armed bank robbery suspect

BURRILLVILLE, R.I. (WLNE) – Police in Burrillville are investigating an armed bank robbery that happened on Tuesday.

The incident happened at 9:30 a.m. at the Rhode Island Credit Union on North Main Street in Pascoag, according to a release.

Authorities say the suspect is a white male, who displayed a handgun and wore a mask and gloves throughout the robbery.  The suspect fled on foot with an undetermined amount of cash.

The Rhode Island State Police Crime Scene Unit is assisting Burrillville Police with this investigation.  Glocester police responded to assist in the initial search of the suspect.
