A campsite in Charlestown was roughed up by Tuesday's storm, sending 9 campers to the hospital.

The campground at Burlingame State Park was littered with downed trees and debris after the storm blew through the area around 6 a.m.

Three people were taken to the hospital with minor injuries, and six others were treated for bumps and bruises.

One camper went running to his truck with his family after the storm started, but found that it had been crushed by a tree.

DEM officials and Environmental Police are there to help clean up. The campground is still open to campers.
