Capron Park Zoo welcomes new Philippine porcupine

ATTLEBORO, Mass. (WLNE) — Officials at the Capron Park Zoo said they’re excited to welcome their latest addition to their nocturnal exhibit.
The zoo said Bruce is a Philippine (or Palawan) porcupine who came from the San Antonio Zoo.
Philippine porcupines’ conservation status is currently classified as “vulnerable” and they’re native to the Philippine Islands and Southeastern Asia.
The zoo said Bruce is very smart and charismatic and they’re sure he’ll win over the hearts of zoo patrons.
Bruce can be found in the zoo’s nocturnal building.
