Car accident claims life of Uxbridge man

A man from Uxbridge was pronounced dead at the scene of a car accident in Glocester.

The two passengers involved were trapped in the vehicle.

Police have identified the deceased operator of the vehicle as 29-year-old Christopher A. Johnson, of Uxbridge, Mass.

The other passenger, 23-year-old Kati Michalik, of Glocester, remains at Rhode Island Hospital and is currently considered to be in fair condition.

According to Police, the Ford pick up truck came off the road and down an embankment on Reynolds Road, around 1:45 a.m. Saturday.

Police say speed may have been a factor of the accident.
