Car collides with multiple trees in Rehoboth

REHOBOTH, MASS (WLNE) – Tuesday night, the Rehoboth Police Department  responded to a call about a motor vehicle crash on Hornbine Rd that sent a woman to the hospital.

The crash was initially thought to have taken place on Hornbine Rd. in Swansea. However, when police arrived on the scene they determined that the crash had occurred in front of 260 Hornbine Rd. in Rehoboth.

The vehicle had just crossed the town line before colliding with a tree, spinning, being turned onto its roof, and finally colliding with a second tree.

The female driver was the only person in the car, and needed to be extricated from it.

She was then transported to Rhode Island Hospital with serious yet non life-threatening injuries.
